Mikel Arteta gives condition for Ramsdale to return as Arsenal No.1 – Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta appears to have given goalkeeper, Aaron Ramsdale a tip of what he would do in order to retake his position as the Gunners first choice goalkeeper.

Ramsdale recently cried out saying he is “suffering and hurting” having lost out on his position at the Emirates to David Raya, who joined from Brighton last summer.

Mikel Arteta has dropped Ramsdale who has served his first choice since 2021 when he joined the club. He has been benched for the last four league matches.

But speaking ahead of their game against Chelsea on Saturday, Arteta said, “It’s not easy for any player when he’s not playing as much as he would like to.

“The only way to do it is to work harder, to show the passion that you have for the game, to contribute to the team in a different way.

“And when you get an opportunity, do your best and try to help the team to win the game.”
